Service — Remote starters
Remote Starter
Installation
Warm up the truck from the kitchen window. We install remote start systems at your home or workplace across Northeast PA and North & Central New Jersey — no shop appointment, no waiting room.
What a proper remote start install involves
A remote starter has to talk to your vehicle's ignition, security and computer systems without upsetting any of them. On most vehicles built in the last fifteen years that means an immobiliser bypass module programmed to your specific year, make and model, plus a tap into the factory wiring that is soldered and sealed rather than twisted together.
We use Compustar systems because the range is honest and the hardware holds up through Pennsylvania winters. Depending on the package you pick, you can start the vehicle from a dedicated remote or from your phone over LTE, with no practical distance limit.
- Immobiliser bypass programmed to your exact vehicle
- Soldered, heat-shrunk and properly fused connections
- Hood safety switch so the engine cannot start while you are working on it
- Factory-style wire routing — nothing hanging under the dash
- Full function test before we pack up
Manual transmission, diesel and push-to-start
Push-to-start vehicles are straightforward for us and usually keep every factory convenience, including climate presets and heated seats where the vehicle supports it.
Diesels need a slightly different approach so the glow plug cycle completes before cranking. Manual transmissions can be done safely, but they require a reservation procedure and a frank conversation about how the vehicle gets parked — we will walk you through it honestly rather than just selling you a box.
What it costs and how long it takes
Most remote starter installs take two to four hours depending on the vehicle and the system. Price depends on your vehicle and which package you choose, and you get the full number up front before any work starts — parts, labour and bypass module included, with no surprises when we finish.
Questions we get asked
Will a remote starter void my factory warranty?
No. A dealer cannot void your warranty simply because aftermarket equipment is fitted. They would have to show that our installation caused the specific failure being claimed, which is exactly why we solder connections and use vehicle-specific bypass modules rather than cutting corners.
Can it start from inside my house or office?
A standard two-way remote covers a few thousand feet in the open. If you park in a structure or want to start it from anywhere at all, the LTE option turns your phone into the remote with no range limit.
Does it drain the battery?
No. The system draws a tiny standby current, far less than your factory alarm. If your battery is already weak, we will tell you before we install rather than after.
