Keeping what the factory did well
The fear with replacing a head unit is losing everything else the dash controls — steering wheel buttons, the reversing camera, chimes, factory amplifiers, vehicle settings menus. Done badly, that is exactly what happens.
We use vehicle-specific interfaces and dash kits so the new screen keeps your steering wheel controls, retains your camera, and sits flush with the surrounding trim. On vehicles where replacing the screen would cost you real functionality, we will tell you honestly and suggest keeping the factory unit and improving the sound behind it instead.

Classics and work trucks too
Older vehicles are some of our favourite jobs. Getting Bluetooth calling and phone streaming into a truck that shipped with a cassette deck makes it genuinely nicer to live with every day.

What it costs and how long it takes
Most head unit installs run two to four hours depending on how much interface work the vehicle needs. Vehicles with factory amplifiers or complex dash integration take longer, and you will know the full price before we start.
Questions we get asked
Will I lose my steering wheel controls?
No. We fit the correct interface module for your vehicle so the buttons keep working, including volume, track and phone.
Is wireless CarPlay worth it over wired?
For short trips, absolutely — you never take the phone out of your pocket. On longer drives wired charges as it plays, so some people prefer it. Most current units do both.
Can you keep my factory backup camera?
Yes, in most cases. We retain the existing camera and bring it up on the new screen rather than fitting a second one.
